The Name of the Rose Image from Chikako on Renderosity
The Meshbox team produced this wonderful 3D model of a medieval monastery that caught my eye because it resembles the monastery from Umberto Eco’s The Name of the Rose. She did a very lovely image render and posted it on Renderosity. Meshbox licenses 3D content for use in art, animation and computer games. The movie with Sean Connery is what most people know about, and while it is excellent the book is brilliant.
